If the model listed for a firmware is not the same as the one presently on the unit then it's not meant for that unit.  Also, have you checked to make sure the media server setting is enabled after the factory initialization?

I am not sure if it is related, but I had the same issue with 1.52, I eventually worked it out that using Firefox would not let me access the MediaServer settings, IE was fine.  Hope this helps anyone else.
