Terastation III NFS Issue
« on: December 15, 2009, 08:23:15 PM »

Hello All, i have seen a number of threads regarding issues with NFS on Terastation III with no resolution.  I have updated the terastation III (Rackmount) to the latest firmware 1.10.  And am still have issues being able to mount an nfs volume.

I have done all of the NFS Setup, enabled, assigned IP Address/subnet mask, enable NFS on volume and added nfs clients.

From my linux box, i attempt to mount an nfs share and am getting permission denied.  Without any root access to the terastation, its impossible to know what the issue is.

Not being able to use NFS, pretty much defeats the purpose of this box, and invalidates Buffalo's indication of actual NFS support.

I am no newbie to Linux and NFS, we have over 30 linux boxes.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Hello,

wasting my time in the same way you do .......

Using TS-X4.0TL / R5-EU FW 1.10 and NFS is "horror"

If you find a way to make it  work please let me know!
