Mapping Drive Error, says there is no "share" folder.
« on: October 27, 2020, 09:17:41 PM »
I have a Link Station LS-WX2.0TL/R1. I have a PC running Windows 10. I can find the Link Station using the desktop app, and can see the drive and directories, but when I try to map the drive, it keeps telling me I need to create a "share" folder. There is already one on the drive. I have a second laptop with Windows 10 that works just fine with the Link Station. Any thoughts?

I have the same issue...logged into the settings and can see the folder there, but I have the same problem you do...if you find a solution please let me know, I have a ton of information on that drive.

Thanks in Advance!

Follow this even though your NAS may be different, it worked for me...be sure to set the Windows SMB Feature as it says and Check the SMB option in the Buffalo NAS Control Panel...mine on the LSv2.0TL was a checkbox.

Windows Updates are becoming more of a pain in the neck on a DAILY BASIS...

Good Luck and Let me know how you make out!
