Hi there,

When setting up local users and groups on our TeraStation I noticed that the UI said that it would only email one user in each group. We can only put in one email address per group in as well. We would need to make multiple 1 user groups to work around this on the NAS side.

While we could build a distribution group, or another email account with forwarding set on the email server to work around this, it would be nice if we could keep all backup related configurations on the NAS itself so we don't have to remember to clean up any exceptions or rules on our other systems. Modular, clean installs are always nice when you can pull them off.

The use case would be to avoid using active directory and have our backup systems use a separate set of workgroups & accounts from our main network. (we'll see how that works in reality) We are trying to keep the NAS config as independent as possible from the rest of our network while still proactively alerting the IT department when something goes wrong so we don't have to go looking for it on an appliance UI. Alerting multiple members is useful for when one person is away from the office.
