(Sorry for the double post - I just realized I first posted in the "Solved Storage Threads" section by mistake!!! :-[)

Hi there.
With some of the latest M$ updates, Windows 10 now disables SMB1 by default.
I checked the confirm of my LS220D (Version 1.73-0.02) and it states that SMB2 is enabled.
Is there something I'm missing?
Can someone tell me how to access my NAS from my windows 10 station?

If there is an alternative - like using other type of file system (is that even possible???) on the NAS, or other drive format...whatever - I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks a lot for your help!

  • There's no problem so bad you cannot make it worse

I think someone in the past had the same problem, I don't remember what the exact solution was. I think some combination of rebooting the devices and unsetting and resetting the setting fixed it for someone.

Hi there.

Thanks "binary" for the reply.

In case someone has the same issue.
I've been able to fix it by doing a firmware upgrade!
I went from 1.72(I think) to 1.75.  Since then, the auto SMB works fine.

Hope it can help someone else!
