cannot connect to nas after windows 10 update KB4552925
« on: June 24, 2020, 01:44:36 PM »
I have 4 Buffalo NAS in my network and they were all mapped to my PC and working perfectly until I installed a windows 10 update KB4552925 ( https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4552925/kb4552925-cumulative-update-for-net-framework )

I have
1 x LS421
2 x LS-DUO
1 x Linkstation

Since after installing that update I could not connect any of those NAS through my Pc. I keep connecting those NAS's remotely and they are working fine.

I have uninstalled that update but it did not help. Can somebody help me to resolve this issue?

Thanks

Most likely the update turned off SMB Version 1, which isn't enabled by default on those devices.

That looks like something with Windows ability to access any shared folders. I'd recommend searching for that error code and see if that gives you any possible fixes.
