I had similar difficulties with my HD-PE320U2 model, untill I realised that the S/No in question is not found on the drive itself, but rather on the package it was purchased in! So look closely, right next to the barcode there is the Serial-No. & a bunch of numbers enter those, also don't forget to select the correct version of your product in the field above!

Remember to look on the package for the right Serial-No. & the correct name of your product! Hopefully you have not thrown it away yet.

Hi everybody,

I have the same problem. I've had my Buffalo HD-PX500U2/WH and I used to connect it to windows7.
Now I want to connect it with Mac and I installed the program but my drive is not available to use. thank you for your considering.
