Our LS-QL (8TB) came up in EM Mode

I received an email from the LSQL that a drive had errors.

  1. I shut it down.
  2. Pulled dthe drive.
  3. Deleted all the volumes created one NTFS volume.
  4. Scanned with recovery.

Errors  were found, the drive bitmap was updated and I delted the NTFS volume.

I put the drive back in, turned it on, but could connect with a web browser.

Nasnavigator2 found it and gave me this message:

The EM mode was detected. Update firmware or contact your local technical support.

 

Do I still need to get a new drive?

And have you updated the firmware!?
