HD capacity - LS-WVL-E
« on: April 06, 2020, 06:23:56 PM »
Looking for the max capacity of HD that the LS-WVL-E will support.   Don't see this listed in any documentation.  3TB?  4TB?  greater?  Thx.

BTW, This uses SATA drives.  Have 2x 3TB in it currently, Raid 1.  Want to use larger drives, as I'm running out of space.  Realize I'll have to start from scratch...  Thx again.

There is a 16tb volume limit for these devices. In theory you could use 16tb drives in raid 1 or 8tb drives in raid 0.

Whether a particular model will work is more a matter of power/heat output and backward compatibility with SATAII
