nas ls-qvl blu power led blinking

Hello folks,
I hope you can help me. First of all, sorry for my poor english.
A client of mine has a buffalo ls-qvl with 4x 2TB hard disks, i suppose in raid 5 (not sure of this).
The nas had stopped working, but it remained powered. It was not reachable by web interface and did not respond to ping. Shared folders are not usable.
It cannot be powered off by pressing the power button.
We restarted the nas and we hear a strange noise from a disk. After few seconds the noise stopped and the power led remained blinking blue.
Is there a way to try to repair the nas? Any suggestion to try at least to enter the web interface?

It depends on what your goals are. If you just want to get the device working and don't care about trying to recover the data your can start over with blank disks, procedures for that can be found here:

If you're looking to recover data you can connect the drives to a PC running linux and attempt to start the raid array and recover data from it. If the data is important you should check out the thread on data recovery services:

Getting to the flashing blue light is an odd place for it to get stuck. This means it got past reading the boot partition, loading the boot files and booting from them but hasn't reached the point where it sets the led to solid. I used to see this all the time in my Debian research on devices that I didn't have any way to set the led to solid. For the stock firmware to do that it must be caught somewhere in the startup process, possibly waiting for a disk check to complete or something of that nature.
