« on: October 15, 2019, 09:55:23 AM »
Hey guys, I have a ls-wxl which has 2x 1tb drives in, when I switch the Nas on the blue power led flashes for about 30 seconds then the info/error just flashes red and it does not progress past this?
I read somewhere it night need it's system reinstalling but how do I go about doing this, thanks very much

If this device has data that's important on it you should probably look into data recovery before reinstalling the firmware/etc.

6 blinks usually means that it was able to read the boot partition but there was something wrong with the firmware, 7 blinks usually means it failed to read the boot partition. You can try reinstalling the firmware using lsupdater (no debug options) and see if that fixes it.

If that doesn't work you can try blanking the drives and starting over using the methods described in this post (also pinned to the top of the storage board):
