HS-DHGL in Emergency Mode on MAC firmware update needed?
« on: May 13, 2011, 12:58:08 PM »

Hi

Here's hoping someone can help on this.  Got a HS-DHGL.  Was working a year ago on my old PC.  Have now got it on my MAC network but is showing as 'Emergency Mode' on NASNavigator2.  Is not showing up on my MAC as a drive.

Seems a lot of people have suggested a firmware update so I downloaded the firmware.  However, all the files seem to be Windows files.  Am I missing something by chance?

You need to install the firmware from a windows OS, it won't work from a MAC.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebnetworks.com and we will get it fixed!

Davo is correct. There is not Mac firmware update for this unit. It can only be done through Windows. Running Windows on your Mac might work, but I have seen some issues with trying to transfer the firmware that way.

Many thanks for the responses...I'll go find a friendly person who'll let me use their Windows PC!
