TS-RX2.0TL/R5 rebuild with new disks
« on: May 22, 2019, 11:18:17 PM »
I purchased a TeraStation III - TS-RX2.0TL/R5 without drives and have installed 4, 2TB drives.
I have tried multiple ways of loading the system from the firmware update.

Does anyone have a full install disk or rebuild disk or a method of loading it from scratch for this model?

Thanks

The process is basically:
Get the device to boot into EM mode
Use tsupdater in debug mode to force the firmware installation.

For the terastation III, if you start with blank drives it should boot into EM mode from the on-board flash (after about 10 minutes). Then you should be able to force the repartition/reformat/reinstall with tsupdater:
