Must reset admin password for firmware update LS-CH10TL

I never had a password. Now I need one to update firmware. Tried google, forum here. Can't find answer. Need help urgently.

if the password wasn't set it's usually "password". Though if it was never set it also probably wouldn't prompt for it.

Thank you for your quick reply. I already tried using password and I also tried to use my computer password thinking it might be that. I searched YouTube but I can't seem to find one for my specific Buffalo Model.

Any other ideas?

Most models have a process (like holding  button at boot) which restores factory settings/password (without wiping data).

I don’t know for that model specifically but the manual should say.
