New LS441 Scanning for 2+ hour

I'm doing the initial setup of my LS441, created a raid 10 array. It has been in a state of syncing for 2+ hours. Is this normal?

Depending on the size of the disks you use the initial sync could take 24-48 hours. It should be usable during this time.
