Replacement circuit board for LinkStation?
« on: October 23, 2018, 04:29:33 pm »
I have a "LinkStation Live (LS-X) - LS-X2.0TL" and a family member plugged the wrong power adapter into it. They said they saw smoke and then it stopped working. The warranty is up too, fun times.

The drive inside seems ok, I think just the circuit board got fried. Is there anywhere to get just the replacement circuit board or do I need to buy a whole new LinkStation?

Here's a pic of the board:

Thanks

Your best bet would be to try and buy a used unit somewhere. I'm not aware of any boards available anywhere.
