Phone number for tech support please
« on: April 15, 2018, 10:06:14 AM »
Extremely frustrated!

I am having password issues after updating my password on the online disk access page. Now I can't log in to the drive locally. I can't get a phone number because my unit is out of warranty. Have tried the knowledge base and can't find anything there. NAS Navigator2 cannot access the drive, so now I can't even get to it via the web.

This is my 4th Buffalo drive, i have been a loyal customer, and I am feeling very shortchanged. Whether this unit is out of warranty or not, their password instructions and help are terrible.

Depends on the model, which you didn't mention in the post, but every manual has instructions for this. You can lock it down to where the reset won't work, and then, you are in trouble. Hopefully that forum post helps.
