start the nas with one old and one new disk
now format the new disk
shut down
replace the last old disk
startup
format the second new disk

Thk You for your reply,
Ok for my first NAS, it's ok, I need to test that for my second NAS if I find my old disks.

I have always the same problem, but now with the original disk, the flashing led have changed.

No I have 2 long orange ans 5 short orange,

In the documentation the flash code is :
Updating the firmware. *Do not turn LinkStation OFF during the update.

But one hour later, it's always the same.

Can you help me ?

Thank You

login  and check the status of the new disk
if this disk is formatted, you can shut down and remove the original disk

orange is standing for info
the system is up and running
if you can not find the webinterface use the nasnavigator
try with a other pc, laptop, mobile phone
