WZR-600DHP LED's for 2.4 & 5 gHZ blinking amber
« on: January 15, 2018, 01:52:02 PM »
WZR-600DHP router
DD-WRT Firmware V24SP2-MULTI (11/04/12) std
Security Mode WPA@-PSK/WPA-PSK
WPA Algorithm TKIP+AES
I have disabled AOSS and WPS DISABLED
I have both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz devices on my wireless network.

ALL devices were MANUALLY added via SSID & code and ALL devices appear to be properly functioning (and have been for several years).  However, I just noticed that BOTH the router LED's for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands are blinking amber (alternately, like a railroad-signal, if that makes a difference).  The manual makes notice that amber means that security is DISABLED and blinking means that AOSS/WPS failed to exchange security keys.  Since I have AOSS/WPS both disabled, I'm confused.  Scans of my network scans indicate security is enabled and is functional.  Can someone clarify these conditions and if I even have a concern?

The LEDs have no baring on how the device is configured when using the DDWRT firmware. The manual is only refering to the Buffalo user firendly firmware AFAIK.
