"No Init File At HDD 3"
« on: May 03, 2013, 09:34:22 AM »

Hi everyone!

I have a TeraStation ES 4TB model that shows "No Init File At HDD 3" on startup. The device doesn't show the error light and the message is only shown very briefly on startup, but I don't know what it means or if it's important or serious. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Aleksi

Try booting the system with drive 3 out.
**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
