N600 DD-WRT intermittent wireless connection
« on: September 05, 2017, 05:03:48 pm »
I have four wireless cameras that I monitor. Wireless is set for BG-Mixed / WPA2 Personal / AES and the cameras have static IP addresses. They randomly and intermittently drop connection and their IP address drops off the network.  If I change any of the wireless settings in the router, the cameras reappear as if nothing had happened.  One article suggested altering the ACK setting in Wireless / Basic Settings / Advanced Settings. Setting this lower than the default 2000 seems to stabalize the connections somewhat, but there is no discernable rationale to one number versus another.  Any change brings the cameras back on.  One or more will be disconnected after some time.  I don't know what else to try.
