SMB Access from Windows Machines
« on: August 01, 2017, 10:31:27 AM »
We have multiple older NAS devices that have worked great until recent SMB updates.  Support has informed me after these updates that our devices are unusable.  Has anyone found a work around or can confirm this information??

If you have an older NAS that only supports SMB version 1 you will likely need to update to a newer NAS. Due to vulnerabilities in SMB version 1 it has been removed from Windows by Microsoft.

In which version of Windows removed SMB v1?

Last realize W10Pro 10.0.15063

I use LS421 on W10Pro with SMB v1

If your products are focused on the MAC OS, write in large letters on the packing box.

p.s. WebAccess for Windows PC and Phone has not been updated since 2012 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/webaccess/9wzdncrfj9pf
