LS-XL does not appear in NAS-Navigator after disk check
« on: April 15, 2017, 09:17:18 PM »
Hello.

This is my first post and I need help. I made the mistake of running a disk check on my LS-XL 1TB drive and it never came back. After 24 hours I powercycled the drive and now it won't show up in NAS-Navigator at all. I haven't been able to find a way to factory reset the drive (there is no reset button on the drive) or get the drive to broadcast again. I can ping successfully and it's set on a static IP. I even went so far as to take it apart to see if there was a battery or something that would reset it. No joy.

Please help me find a way to either factory reset the drive (preferred) or get it to stop this stuck disk check. As far as I know the drive is fine. This was just a diagnostic check since it had been inactive for quite a while.

Update: I pulled the drive and did an independent check. The drive is fine, however now it won't even show up on the network at all. I get a rapid blue blink. My router indicator light says the device is connected, the network port lights up green on the NAS, however it won't show up on the network scan. I'm getting ready to write this off and snatch the drive. The lack of a RESET button on the device is starting to really make me angry.

You need the recovery image to basically reinstall the unit from scratch.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
