Hi, I've looked but I can't find the answer to this, there was a very similar topic from 2014 but it didn't get answered.
I have a LS-QVL/R5 with the power LED blinking red 7 times in a row. Obviously I can't access it. It was given to me as a throw out and its well out of warranty etc. Its got 4 drives in it, not in a RAID array but just separate data disks, I have all the data elsewhere but it would be a pain to copy everything over again.
I've managed to buy another working LS-QVL without drives, my first question is can I just insert the old disks into the new box and access the data, or will it go through some startup type initialization process and wipe the old disks?
