Up to yourself really, a new Nas is £100 at least, a new HDD is what £30-40?

I believe it came with 1 TB and 2 TB drives originally. Is it literally a case of plugging in a replacment drive, but how do I get the software back on to the drive ?

Got it open, it is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 drive. Amazon have some Seagate 3.5" 1TBs for £47. Would that do ?
