TS3400D cannot startup with 4 drives and 1000Mbps network
« on: March 08, 2017, 09:35:14 PM »
I used 2x2T in RAID 1 mode and 2 network connections (one is 100Mbps and the other is 1000Mbps) before, and everything went well on TS3400D.
Recently, I replace the old drives with 4x3T and found a very weird phenomenon.
I plugged in 4 new drives and used TSupdater v.170 to flash the firmware (in debug mode). When 1000Mbps network was not connected, everything is OK. But if I connect 1000Mbps network to TS3400D and reboot, it cannot startup normally and change into EM-Mode (Sometimes NAND Mode). Changing back to 100Mbps network won't help.
I made several trys and got the conclusion as below:
1. One or two drives with 1000Mbps network can work normally.
2. If the system is started with no connection or 100Mbps network connection, 1000Mbps network can be connected and works well. But reboot will destory the system.
3. Neither port on TS3400D makes any differences.

Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you very much!

P.S. I'm not in English speaking country, please forgive my poor English~
