i have just found my portable hard drive after many years of forgotten storage unfortunately ive forgot how to use it cannot find manual and been unable to find online manual asks for model no butis unable to find model no HD-PET500U2 anyone any ideas.

It's a simple USB disk, plug it in and it appears in My Computer / Computer / This PC

I purchased a mini station HD-PZ and plugged it into my macbook pro and the light comes on but my mac isn't showing it in finder? does anyone know why or how to make it work?

Using Webaccess a app from samsung galaxy tab a shows "connection target storage server not found" although same setup from nexus works OK. Any ideas would be welcome please. Using linkstation LS421DE via virgin router.

What kind of portable hard drive should I get? I have lots of very important data and I need a backup and I thought about hard drive not connected to internet in anyway. Which one is good one, fast?
