Hello all. Im having a strange problem and need input.
I purchased a WHR-300HP2 and set it up. The only changes I made to any settings were to enable security and set a log in password.
Now, everything appeared to running well. My computers (3) connected directly with ethernet cables connect well and smoothly on the internet.
When one device connects via WiFi, everything runs well. However, the moment another device connects via WiFi, all WiFi connections grind to a halt and lag horribly. Picture the slowest dial up connection from days of old. When I take all WiFi devices off the the network except one, that once device is able to cruise the internet with no problems. Im currently on my old router and having no problems.
Now, I contacted the vendor asking for a replacement and they state that the device is not defective and lag is just lag. That is total BS. Im 99% certain that something is wrong with this router.
My question is, is there a setting that I should try? Did I miss something?
