You need the boot image to reinstall the unit. PM me if you want it.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

But in that case i will loose my data right?

also will resetting help.

Also i have Two Buffalo Terastation TS-QVHL/E & TS XL both configured with RAID 5 ( 4 X 2TB HDD)   now my TS-QVHL/E is not booting & so i have planned to take backup of TS XL & then remove hard disk from TS-QVHL/E & insert in TS XL.

Will it work & will i be able to recovery data

No it will not work, they are 2 completely different unit, even if you had another TS-QVHL/E it still would not work as the issue is the OS on the disks, moving the disks just moves the problem to another unit.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Reset wont work, if you don't have a backup then contact a data recovery company.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Rautmanoj,

Sometimes you can still get it to boot if it only has a single drive causing the boot to fail.

Shut down the unit, pull drive one, and restart. If it wont start, shut it down, put drive 1 back in and pull out drive 2, then retest.

The idea is that you are looking for three drives that successfully boot. Once it does, back up your data with the most important files first.

If this doesn't work, we do have a partnership with DriveSavers, who provide a discount to Buffalo customers.

**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
