WXR-1900DHP Log Errors
« on: February 12, 2015, 09:54:12 PM »
Hello everyone, I recently bought a new WXR-1900DHP and noticed some weird errors in the log. They state ampdu off and then some about backplane resets and !!!big hammer!!!. Ive never owned a buffalo product before so I was hoping on of you awesome folks could help. By the way, ive contacted buffalo to ask if they know anything about the errors and the product wasnt in there system yet for them to really help. I have factory reset twice and left all setting at factory defaults and still get the errors. The following log clip just repeats over and over. Thank you.

Have you tried checking for the latest firmware update? Also are you using Community DD-WRT or Buffalo DD-WRT?
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,

I don't work for Buffalo but i do love there products enough to help people

Hello joma, I am using the user friendly software, it is the only firmware for this new router at the moment. No firmware updates available.

For a second I thought it was a professional firmware such as dd-wrt, So this is a software/driver issue in the unit. Seen this on lots of forms but usually with DD-WRT, Where did you check for a firmware update? on the Buffalotech site? or are you using the routers build in feature to check if there is a updated.

If you want you can see if you can just get a replacement. Maybe there is chance that the wireless card is having issues. You can try to also lower the Tx/Rx and see if that might help. Surprise that they told you that. If anything try to make them get you T2, They should be able to help. In my opinion, even if the product is to new, they can go off the manuals or send a request up the chain to get more info. Thats why im suggesting T2.
