XHL power management
« on: May 05, 2009, 11:57:48 AM »

I own a XHL 1TB model.

1) when I set the spin down to enable, what it is supposed to happen?

2) I tried to set up the sleep timer. It looks like the sleep label is the wake up label and vice versa, am I correct?

3) When the drive goes to sleep I can not wake it up with any of my computers (wired and wireless), also if I press and hold for 3 seconds the front panel button it does not wake up either (even though the switch in the back is in the on position). I have to put the switch in the bak in off then in on to turn the NAS on. could you please tell me if I sould return the uni?

Do you think it is possible to get an answer from Buffalo Technologies?

Do you think that you could post the firmware version per our guidelines?
