my nas no longer detected
« on: December 28, 2014, 10:10:07 AM »
I have a ls-chl479 nas 1tb on my network. It's been working fine. About two days it is no longer seen on my network. I can't access it.
I use it for my music files that I play through my Sonos system.
I am on an iMac, when I click the shortcut to the music folder in finder is says:
There was a problem connecting to server. Server may not exist or is unavailable at this time. Check server name or ip address.

When I open my router control panel it is shown on the list of devices and says it is connected and online.
Everything else about the router and devices connected to it, my wireless and internet all seem to working fine.
I have made no changes to any settings. Like I said it has been working fine for at least a year. It was there one day and just gone the next.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

I just saw in Nas Navigator that the drive is in EM Mode. What does this mean and how can I fix. I assume this is my problem.
