WZR-1750DHP firmware (2.08) deficiencies
« on: July 31, 2013, 05:22:27 PM »
Following my previous post about firmware 2.07 deficiencies ( http://forums.buffalotech.com/index.php?topic=18149.0 )

1. Advanced Settings -> Security -> VPN Passthrough

Lack of L2TP option.
As stated in the other thread - there is L2TP server inside and there are clients inside network who needs to connect to L2TP servers on the internet concurrently. It does not work.

2. Device Settings -> (Choose one) -> Priority Control QoS

Can't be set - says "Invalid input". It is regardless of QoS settings, checked in Chrome and IE

3. Advanced Settings -> Admin -> System

Password change is crazy - BigTex will bring this issue to developers.

Notes:
1. I have my own DNS/DHCP so I do not use on in the router
2. I am using Windows 7 in all my computers

That's it for now

I am having the exact issue with the QoS update listed in #3. If you try to customize for a device, you get the Invalid input error. I've tried on OS X and Windows 7, in Safari, Chrome, FireFox, and IE. I'm running firmware 2.22.

I purchased this router solely for the QoS functionality. If this won't work, I can't imagine why I'd keep this device. Please advise. Thanks.
