Dear Buffalo Customer,

Thank you for contacting Buffalo email support. After looking from your Ebay link of the type of disk you are using with our device it definitely seems that those disks are not supported to be used with out device. Those disks are in the BD-RE BDXL format which is not one of the supported version of the disk that can be used with the device. The link below will show you which disk formats can be used with the device: http://www.buffalotech.com/content/files/products/BRXL-PC6U2B_datasheet.pdf

Hi,

Sorry, I didn't understand.

You want to tell, that the disks "BD-RE TL" & "BD-RE QL" what support this device BRXL-PC6U2B are not the BDXL format ?

What then there is "TL" & "QL" - where these disks ?

Thanks !

If you look at the product specification page it does not show the XL discs on their compatible list.  The BRXL-16U3 does show XL discs as being compatible.  Funny thing is on their overview page of the PC6U2B they say it does support those discs.
