NO MORE FREE DDNS FOR BUFFALO ROUTER
« on: April 16, 2014, 01:25:19 am »
Do you know TZO = DynDNS? and Do you know DynDNS is no more free service now?

But when you using any buffalo, and go to DDNS menu you can only choose the following services:
    DynDNS
    TZO

so, Is Buffalo receiving money from them? so we can only choose dyndns????

Is this a joke?! Because it sounds like one! Stop being a cheap ass, if you require DDNS then cough up the $20 or use DDWRT.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Are you talking yourself? Don't being a DYNDNS's dog ass!!!!! Just go back to your Dyndns's dog house
It is not the money problem, The problem is : DYNDNS's crap service is not worth $20 dollars.
Why we don't have other choices?

If you're too cheap to pay for a service then that's your issue. Otherwise use DDWRT.

Go back to your DYNDNS's dog house

pay for service???? I was tell you Dyndns's services is very very poor, If I pay I don't want to using their crap service.
so what was why I post here to asking Buffalo to add anther company and add a function that like DDWRT that can let you add custom DDNS and NOT ONLY DYNDNS

The dd-wrt firmware doesn't haves bittorrent, cif shares, DLNA or usb hard drive standby.

Yes I know I could install the vanilla DD-Wrt instead of Buffalo one. But I payed for a router with certain options and the last firmware doesn't haves they.

Sounds like your pushing your router to hard. Stop using router for storage and go one a better solution like a linkstation which has all that you Said but usb standby. Only thing else is they have Linux partitions with cifis support and I see no issues there.

Hi joma90.

The default firmware had all the features I said. So I think i'm not requesting any wonder. I'm only asking to get the same features as when I bought the router.

A beta FW is available that adds support for NoIP. It is for the WZR-1750DHP.

**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
