WZR-HP-G300NH remote access

Hi,

Does anyone know if the latest DD-WRT 19484 firmware cures the problem with remote access from a local lan? In other words, accessing a static IP address going out to the internet and then back to the static ip address. On my present firmware it does not, but that is the user friendly firmware which came with the router.
