Windows 8 accessing TerraStation Pro shares

Does anyone answer these forums?

Can Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 access SMB shares on a TerraStation Pro model TS-HTGL/R5  Firmware version 1.35

Hello,

same problem here. I'm using a Terastation firmware 1.12.

I can't connect to the shares on it.
The workaround for Vista (I use on my old computer) and Win7 doesn't help me:

adding  a new key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
LmCompatibilityLevel  = 1

Just open regedit and locate this key.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

In the right pane look for EnableLUA and modify its value to 0. Close regedit.

Done.
