Hello, i am a technician, i have installed several LS-WXL and now i switched to LS420D.
I already installed 2 of those NAS devices and both show the same problem:
The USB 3.5 drive (i tried USB 2.0 and 3.0) that is attached to the USB port, is successfully recognized but system shows it as "not formatted".
If i launch format process, whatever file system i pick from list, process starts and successfully completes, but the drive in the list still shows as "not formatted".
After the format is executed, the samba shares looks to be unaviable, until Linkstation reboot.
Is there a solution for this or i have to switch back to old units? I have tried several USB hard drives, that works correctly on old models, all show the same problem.
