Unable to Mount Volumes on Mac
« on: December 25, 2013, 01:10:03 AM »
On my MAC (OS10.6) I can use my NASNavigator2 to see my LS-WSXL drive but I am unable to open it -- when asked which volume I would like to mount both choices are greyed out. I can access the LS-WSXL703 drive with my Windows 7 machine on the same network.

Do you have windows and apple checked on the share for OS support? also did you turn of AFP under Network tab in the linkstations settings. Also you can try different protocol to map to the drive. Press Command-K while in the Finder and you can try some of these options. "smb://IPaddressOfLinkstation", "afp://IPaddressOfLinkstation", "cifs://IPaddressOfLinkstation" and see if this helps.
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,

I don't work for Buffalo but i do love there products enough to help people
