I am trying to backup to an attached USB drive, but I get the following error:
usbdisk1: drive not mounted
I formatted the drive in the ext3 file system on a Linux PC. That PC can successfully mount the drive.
I scheduled a simple Immediate backup job with the LS-WXL250@usbdisk1 at the target. I get the following text in the log file:
-------- BEGIN BACKUP 2013/09/29 10:12:35 array1/company/Corporate -> LS-WXL250@usbdisk1 --------
usbdisk1: drive not mounted.
-------- END BACKUP 2013/09/29 10:12:35 array1/company/Corporate -> LS-WXL250@usbdisk1 --------
Any idea what could be wrong.
I am using firmware version:
1.64 (DTCP-IP:1.64-20121203)
I downloaded firmware version 1.65 from the buffalo support site and try tried to run LSUpdater.exe. The updater program found my LinkStation but it complained that I had the wrong admin password. I used the admin password that I use to access the LinkStation from the browser. However, it did not accept that password.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
