Hard drive manufacturers had teamed up with NAS producer to test and ensure compatibility with the drives that they are producing.
The latest one being Western Digital's RED which is dubbed the NAS drive.
I am interested to buy one and use it on my LS-WVL but I have tight budget.
Hereby REQUEST BUFFALO TO TEST AND INFORM CUSTOMER ON THE COMPATIBILITY OF NEWER DRIVES with Buffalo Products and update the latest compatible hard disk list on the website starting with WD RED please.
WD is publishing compatibility with the major brands of NAS except BUFFALO. It would do BUFFALO good business if Buffalo's model is published in the WD websites as well upon certification.
