I've had this router for a couple of months, and I'm using it as an access point. When I first got it, I had a lot of difficulty getting access to the router to configure it, and finally managed, I'm not sure how. I got it set up with WPA security, and it worked fine.
But recently it reverted to unsecured for no reason I can figure. I've been trying for two days to find a way to talk to the Buffalo and it refuses to answer the phone. It's set for bridge mode (though I've tried the other as well). It's wired into the ethernet router (the 2d of two that I've tried). I'm using the IP address of 192.168.11.100 , which I understand is the right one for bridge mode, though I've also tried 192.168.11.1 and various other addresses in those neghborhoods. The computer I'm using it to reach the Buffalo is also wired directly into the router. I've reset everything multiple times -- the cable modem, the router, the computer, and the Buffalo. I still can't ping it or reach it with a browser.
It's working just fine as a wireless access point. If I didn't need the security, everything would be great, but an unsecured network is a no go.
Is there any hope of a fix?
