FTP clients can't connect
« on: January 24, 2011, 05:34:37 PM »

This should be straight forward but doesn't work.  I enabled the FTP service. I created a folder and enabled FTP. I setup access restrictions allowing read/write for 1 local user, 1 domain user, 1 domain group. From any browser, FTP clients Filezilla and FireFTP I receive "Logon incorrect" type errors. I doubt I have entered bad usernames & passwords more than a dozen times. This is all on a local network. Am I missing something?

TS-XE4.0TL/R5

firmware 1.41

Is this unit joined to an AD? AD and FTP cannot be used at the same time with these units.

Yes it is joined to AD. Doesn't need to be for how I am using it. I will try the other way. Thanks!
