Linkstation Live 1tb Media Server cannot be enabled

Hi All

Another newbie i'm afraid

Sorry for this. I have searched the boards and not found this anywhere so I hope I am in the right place

I have a LS-CHL12B running Firmware version: 1.33 on Ubuntu Linux so no Nas Navigator just firefox and an ip address for management

I was having problems with reliability so I decided to re-initialize everything. i.e. re-format hard drive etc.

Tried to enable media server and it just always came up disabled. It did work before the re-initializing. I thought it may be because there was not data to serve so,

Did a direct copy of 500 gigs and went to turn media server on

Same thing, it just will not enable,  I can change other settings i.e. view usb drive etc.

Hope someone can help

Panic over

Just in case anybody else gets the same thing it is a case sensitivity issue on the share name

the shared file was listed as Share and the directory name on the drive was share

Presumably the same would happen if the name does not match for any other reason also
