Linkstation recovery connections
« on: August 04, 2010, 06:51:16 PM »

Have a HD-H250LAN storage device and did not have recyle bin set so I could recover deleted files.  Deleted some files and want to get them back.  Bought EASEUS software and it cant see the linkstation through the wireless network (have a fixed IP).  Connected the linkstation to my computer with a patch cable and a crossover and neither can see the linkstation (I might be missing something on establishing this connection) .  Tried to connect via USB but that seems to only be for external hard drive attachment or printer attachment.  How do I connect the linkstation to my system thats running Vista so I can see it and run my recovery software.  Thanx

you would have to physically remove the HDD and connect it to your IDE connection/caddy in your PC. Recovering files from an XFS based file system is extremely difficult hense the recycle bin option.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
