terastation in EM Mode
« on: January 25, 2010, 07:27:50 PM »

I have a HD-H 1.0TGL/R5 Terastation and I updated the firmware from 1.2 to 2.16.  I cannot access it from the network, it has a static ip address.  When I access it with the navigator it tells me it is in EM mode.  All leds are normal and it seems to be working fine.  The navigator gives me the error, em was detected, update firmware or contact your local technical support.  All the information on the navigator is correct, ip, network, gateway, etc.

You need to download the firmware from our download section and then upzip it after that run the updater.exe file

Thank you.  My first attempt at that failed but I will try it again hooking it up directly to a computer.

The 2.16 is the correct firmware for the HD-H 1.0TGL.R5 terastation, I should just try to reinstall it.  I was considering reverting back to the 1.2 that was on it before.

I re-installed the firmware and it works fine now.
