Linkstation Live ls-CHL update firmware problem.

I have a Linkstation Live LS-CHL with v.1.07 firmware. I see that there is a 1.21 firmware update which I want to install.  I remember installing 1.07 with no problems on my Windows computer.  But today I downloaded 1.21 and it says it can't find my Linkstation even though I can access it from any computer via the network name or the ip address.

 

I get the following error : 

 

LSUpdater - LS-CHL that needs updating wasn't found.

The 1.21 firmware is only for the second hardware revision of this unit.  Yours is the first hardware revision.

You are getting that error because you have version 1 and that update is for version 2

I had the same problem when I trired to update my LinkStation Live unit.
