HD-HBU2 160U2-WR Drivestation doesn't appear on Mac Desktop.

HD-HBU2 160U2-WR Drivestation was switched off in unsafe mode, now won't show up on desktop. I've been using it nearly 2 yrs without problems (PowerPC G4, OS X, 10.4.11) My hubby turned the power off before I could take the HD-HBU2 icon to the trash (he's a PC guy; forgive him).

 

Disk Utility shows it, but won't mount it. It passed verification. Right now doing Verify and Repair. I know there's a simple explanation, but do not have time to read all 12,000 posts.

 

I'd greatly appreciate if you have a quick answer and save my life. Thanks!

   SOLVED! Running the Verify & Repair in Disk Utility (on the HD-HBU2) & Restart did the trick, thanks to Cameron on Buffalo Phone support. I'm posting so that if some poor Mac soul has the problem in the future, they won't have to call. THANKS!
