NASNavigator2 speaks in tongues.
« on: July 07, 2009, 05:29:20 PM »

I just purchased a LinkStation Quad LS-Q4.0TL/R5 and installed it with no hassles.  However, when I try to use the Folder Connection or Folder Synchronization pulldown menus in NASNavigator2 all I get are windows with squares and vertical lines instead of text and an OK button.  How can I get these windows to display something in English?

I am running XP Pro SP3 on a Dell Dimension 5100 desktop.

Update the firmware to 1.10, I believe there was some character fixes in the firmware since.

I updated the firmware to 1.10 and updated the NASNavigator from 2.15 to 2.18 and the problem was solved.  I don't know which one did it, but the offending tabs were completely absent from NASNav2.18 so maybe they solved it by killing the tabs.

Anyway, I'm sure both needed to be updated and I thank you for your suggestion!
