Help: LS-500GL is not responding....
« on: June 08, 2009, 07:53:30 PM »

I'm trying to figure out if the NAS is bricked.  Here is the situation

I don't know the firmware because the NAS Client tool can't tell me.  I'm guessing 1.03.

The NAS Client is telling me I have an IP address and MAC address, but I can't browse to the admin page.

The power and link lights are on and green.

I don't have any error or info lights.

The fan in the back is not moving.

Any suggestions?  Can I extract the drive and drop it into another Buffalo case?  Just wondering...

Thanks

Shish

You unit is in EM mode, reinstall the firmware and you should be fine.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebnetworks.com and we will get it fixed!
